What a slacker I've already become. I've slacked on blogging, I've slacked on proper eating, and I've slacked on BBG. Although on a positive note, I have been pretty good about my running! Yesterday I ran five miles in 62 minutes, with only a few walking breaks. It actually felt pretty good although, I really had to push myself to get that time, and that last mile dragged.
I've only been running on the treadmill so I can keep a good pace, plus it's freezing outside. Luckily the race is flat except for one part, so I'm not terribly concerned about running up hills, but I know I should add some inclines to my runs. I haven't been sore at all so I think I can handle the 10k pretty well, as long as I keep up with my runs. I ran the 10k Turkey Trot in Cincinnati and was terribly sore after I had run it. The thing is, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are incredibly hilly, so that didn't help me out.
I've refused to weigh myself because I know I hadn't been good about my eating habits at all. I was worried to see that my weight went up instead of down. I don't know why I struggle making habits, but it almost seems impossible for me. I know I need and want to lose weight, but for whatever reason it's been hard to ignite a fire within myself.
Today when I get back from work, I plan on doing two sets of BBG, since I didn't do it on monday
I Took my measurements today, so I could continue to track my progress.
Weight: 134
Natural waist: 33.5 inches
Belly button: 36 inches
Right Thigh: 21 inches
Right Arm: 11.25 inches
I went from 134.4 to 134, so there's at least a teeny bit of progress! Not much, and it could have been more if I would have eaten properly. My waist, and around my belly button need to drastically go down, but I think I'd like an inch off my arms and legs. My butt needs some serious toning so I need to work on strength training so I can build some muscle there.
I plan on taking some progress pictures and measurements on February 15th, hopefully there will be some differences made!
Till next time!
Julia
